When you have no money is window shopping as good as really shopping or not?

If you have a good imagination it can be, yes! I think it is great to be able to enegage in positive visualization every now and then and picture yourself having various things. It can sometimes help us set goals as well which is always a good thing. Dare to dream!

I think live window shopping is a waste of time and money and depressing as well. I would not drive somewhere wasting gas to walk around for several hours just to return home empty handed. I could find better uses of my time. Also I would get depressed looking at all the things I would want to get but couldn't because I would have any money.

When you have money window shopping is easy because you know that you can just go and buy if you want. When you have no money then I find window shopping a complete turn off. I don't want to see what I can't afford. That said, I'm at a time of my life now when I really can't be bothered with shopping at all. If I want something I can either afford it or not. Thanks to the internet I don't even have to leave home to know.

As far as I am concerned it is 110% better ... no bills ... the closets don't get filled with stuff that isn't worn.... Plus if you go try the cloths on in the store, you still get to wear them for a while. Let's hear it for window shopping.

of course it's definitely better to shop than to window shop:-) but window shopping is a great pastime if you want to relax and you can plan on what to buy whenever you think you are deserving:-)
