Do you think music nowadays mostly sucks?

I know I do. Don't get me wrong, this decade has its hits every once in a while but thy are so few and far in between. Post 2000, it's pretty hard to find anything remotely original and listenable to and something that isn't asinine (like the MTV channel has become unfortunately).

Yes it does and really happy that m not only the one who thinks that, there are some other factious people like you too who know whats going on with now a days's dirt filled music
i hate todays music with all the hip hop and rap crap! it just is insult of Music.!

Yes thank you! That rap crap I cant stand, i used to like hip hop from the late 80s/early 90s when it actually sounded good and u can understand what everyone's saying better and theyre not mumbling a bunch of jibberish. Today all the beats sound uninspired (the Umbrella remix with Lil' Wayne for instance or any song with Jay-Z), the beats sound like a cheap ghetto horror movie lol, ugh!

I wouldn't say that it sucks. It's..just not for me. Well most of the newer songs and artists are starting to sound the same? I think they are all sort of programmed to look a certain way and talk a certain way. That annoys me the most and the fact that they try to explain why they are different from everyone else. That's kind of lame.

Yea, I have to agree...A lot of mainstream music these days is simply terrible...I'm constantly on the look for new and awesome bands, and although I have found some very good talented bands, you're right...Most bands suck for some reason now...Maybe it's just a sign that I desperatly need to start getting into different styles of music...
