Can You Play the Piano

I was a music major, i play the piano, guitar and the recorder. I also tried violin but "twinkle twinkle little star" was all i could play. I have taught music lessons to both children and adults before. I tell you, its never too late once you have the interest, and of course time to practice. Music lesson is usually given one hour a week, and the student is required to practice at least 8 hours a day. All you need is patience and determination, and most of all passion if you want to learn how to play well. I suggest you learn oido, listen to music of varying genre, decide which one you like best and concentrate on it. Once you can play, you can later try other forms. When i am hired to teach a child, i usually ask if the child is really interested or the parents are because my lessons would be futile and the parents will just be wasting their money if the child has no interest to learn.

i can play the piano. took lessons when i was younger. i wish i know how to play guitar and drums though!

i wish i could play the piano its a fantatic instrument but unfortunatly i cannot play it if my children are ever interested in learning to play then i will let them but its not something i would force onto them
