And bent the arm, when I tried to straighten it out the arm broke. My husband has this kind of plastic tubing, which he was able to put it back together enough for me to wear them. I have a bad habit of putting my glasses in silly places when I take them off. this was my spare, my major glasses has a broken arm as well. Have you ever sat on your glasses and broke them? At least the lens was not ruined.

I broke my glass frames a few months back while sitting down on them. Frustrating, isn't it? I went to the local walmart and got a new pair of frames for around twenty bucks so that was good

Okay, I did not know you could buy frames at Walmart. I will look into that. What did you do, have someone put the lens in or did you do it yourself. My husband also has a pair of glasses that needs a new frame. I going to have to be more careful as to where I lay my glasses down at. Usually, I will put them somewhere, then have to back track because I forgot where they were.

I had noticed they had an eyeglass shop in the store before I broke them. I went in and asked the guy if he had any cheap frames that would fit the lenses (because I have a fixed income and not a lot of spare loot). He looked around and found frames that would fit and then went into a back room and put the lenses in for me I have an appointment with an optometrist on the fifteenth, these glasses are way too old, I need new ones

Well, since at least for now, I have to wear my glasses all except for when I am sleeping to be able to see, I have never had this happen that I know of. I have bent or scratched, broke my glasses though other ways over the yrs. It can be a frustrating thing for sure, especially with the Cost associated from things like this for sure.
