Presently I am living in Ohio..Last week I went to DMV for my state id & temporary driving licence..but they told that any person can't have both of these..so I had to take state id ..but they don't give any person both the cards..both are important..can you tell some reason?

Well I can not really tell you why this is, it makes no sence to me either, but I do know that it is the same way here where I live in Arkansas. You can not have a state I.D. and a drivers licence too.

I have no idea.... Maybe it's just one more way for the sadistic beurocracy to make life harder for innocent already hard-working Americans. Hmmm.... Now, I am legally blind, and not dependent on a car to get me from A to B, so this would not have been a problem for me, where I in your situation. I can see how it is a problem for you though, and I agree that it's not fair.

Your drivers license is also an ID card. The ID card is basically for people who don't drive. You don't need both.
