Do you think the operation to balance out the girl's breasts was cosmetic or not

I was watching Dr Phil and there was a girl who had one breast significantly larger than the other. She had to put a special gel thing in the small one to make it less noticeable. She had to get a bathing suit that would hold the gel thing, so it was hard for her to shop for swimwear. Other than the appearance, she was just fine. Her insurance did not cover the surgery to even them out, because it was considered by the insurance company to be cosmetic. Of course, appearing on the Dr Phil show got her the surgery, but in your opinion, do you think she deserved to have the surgery? Other than having to wear the gel thing, I don't think it was really so tragic to have this deformity. It's not as though her face was deformed and with the gel thing, if you had met her, you probably would not notice. I just found it only mildly inconvenient.

I wouldn't call that cosmetic, I think it is because of the part od the body concerned and all the media hype about it that someone in a little office has made that call, if if was someone with one leg shorter than the other I don't think they would have called that cosmetic, I am glad she got her surgery..
