hmmm...good question...it depends, I guess. If they can come up with a male version of Beyonce they might. But you surely wouldn't feel good hearing a guys singing Independent MEN, right?:)

hi luntian...it depends what exactly you mean. if they were a male group and truly male, not cross dressers, there are a lot of male groups that succeed. now if you mean cross dressers, or a gay group then could still be good but may not be as successful, because the biggest market is straight. unless they were exceptional. there are some cross dressers that stand out in being successful. it's a tough call.
