Hi there luntian_grace; It all depends on the effect you're trying to produce. Sometimes I find color just doesn't cut it, so when it comes time to edit, I chuck on the grey scale, and if that doesn't look right to me, I'll throw on the sepia with a touch of filtering. But what do I prefer? Like the other responders, I like black and white for it's dramatic flair. commanderxo

I'm going to have to agree with most everyone else here and say that it depends on the photographs. Some photos look better in black and white, some look better in color and some look better in sepia. I've noticed that photos with a lot of contrast tend to look better in black and white. Photos with a lot of strong lines in them tend to look really good in sepia. And of course, photos will brilliant colors are usually best in color!

...depends on the subject, person, I prefer black and white. Nothing to distracts you when viewing it. Landscapes may be both depending on the number of things surrounding the main subject.

actually, the color sepia can be applied to photos which are black and white. =) however, i like the classic black and white. it's more dramatic. =) i usually see sepia color effect in photos on oceanside, little kids, flowers and dim photos.

It really depends on the picture, but most of the time I like black and white.
