How do you take responding here in mylot? DO you browse for interesting topics or look for your friends discussions? How does your usual mylot day starts? Do you start it by starting a discussion? or by answering back people who comment on yours?
My usual mylot time starts with checking my email address since my notification is turned on. I browse on the message that comes from mylot. I first check on the topics that I respond and that user who posted the topic comment back on me. If I think I still have something to say I comment back again. Then I go to the discussions I started. I clicked on the discussion if the last respondent is not me, it means there is a new response or that I am not yet finished answering back people who take time commenting on my topic. I make it a point to comment and thank them, if I have not time, I make at least two. OK I know this is a don't in mylot guidelines, but I don't only thank the people who post a response (I am actually annoyed sometimes when I respond to some topics and the discussion starter comment back by saying thanks for the response) I read their comment and say something about their comment too, in that way the user knew that i also take time reading their response. When I am finished with it, I take some time off. Then I click on my friends one by one (yes I am that patient
) and look for the discussions they started and try to answer at least two, a bit tiring sometimes but rewarding. Then if nothing else interest me, I go to my interest rankings and click on a certain interest whose rank is below 10. I find it fun to make a challenge for myself here in mylot. So what I do is click on that interest and try to start a discussion there or if nothing comes out of my mind, I just answer at least 5 post.
Some would say that I am making it hard for myself and not enjoying what I am doing. I am actually enjoying it. I am very organized so there and having fun with my organized mylot schedule. I knew some here just take on the hot topics or the new ones or the today's top.
So I really want to know how you take time enjoying mylot..
Enjoy

I do not have notifications turned on for people. When I first log into myLot I check on the discussions that I have started to see who has replied to my discussions. After my discussions I look at the ones I replied to the day before to see if I have a reply to any of my comments. Then I check out the discussions my friends have started. After that I move on to new discussions.

If I post a discussion, I would go out of my way to respond to all the respondents first before participating in others discussion. But normally, because I don't always post topic, I always start with the topics posted by my friends, if a topic interest me then I'd respond right away but if not I'd skip and go to the top discussions and respond all the topics there that interest me, I also go to new discussions and do the same. I also make it a point to go to the discussions of new users so that I can give my support to anyone whose topic attracts me.

I just started a few days ago so I'm just kinda starting to figure everything out.
I usually start out by looking for recent discussions. Then I look for some that sound interesting to me and I can comment too. I also look for ones my friends have started. I haven't started very many myself yet. Still trying to get going in here.
