Buying products based on ads and packaging...

I have been wondering all the time, why I have been easily convinced with these ads about products like shampoo's, soaps, etc. that they really is good. A good example of this is, I have been having falling hair for sometime now and then I saw this advertisement on tv that it says, these type of shampoo is for hair fall control. So that means, if it's true on what they say, if I use it, I would have less hair fall. Another one is whitening soaps. Ads and packaging says that you'll have whiter skin in less than 2 weeks. You have consumed 2 bars of it and it's been a month and yet no results. Funny isn't it? But this is really happening. As for me, I'll just have to stick to what I am using. I don't want to waste money on this. Can you share more instances or examples of like this that you have encountered? Do you buy products based on the packaging and on the advertisements that you've seen? Or you bought it because you've been challenged if the ads are true? Happy mylotting to all. HUGZ!

Well, that is true with any product out there, whether it be something that you buy online, or in a store etc. There are a lot of Good products out there but I find that it is hard for you or anyone else to convince someone unless they decide to try it themselves. And we need to always remember, what might work Good for one person, might not always work the best for someone else. When it comes to a product no matter where you purchase it, $$ is involved. It is up to you to decide if it is worth trying, and what you could benefit from using the product as well.

I agree with you. One product may be good for one person and to others not. You won't know if it works for you unless you've tried it. HUGZ!

Whenever I buy something for example soaps, I will read the packaging contents. So far, I am using the soap which gives me a nice result on my skin. I like it when it has vitamin E in it.

well sometimes a product's packaging defines what kind of a product it already is. would you buy a product that has dirty packaging? or is not sealed? of course we see quality of the proudct by its presentation too.
