I downloaded Chrome and started using it. Glad it's beta. After using it for about 3 hours, and having multiple tabs open, my system started to crawl! I couldn't do anything! I had to kill it and it took another 5 minutes for my system to return to normal. Not a good sign!

I also noticed there was no button for Home. How strange is that? I have to either type the url or re-open chrome to get there. I would have thought that would have been up there with the rest of the buttons. Tom www.pixelbliss.com

yeah i'm perfectly happy with my FireFox. of course i will monitor what people are saying about Chrome, and might try it out after it runs through it's beta stage. right now FireFox is my default browser but i also have Internet Explorer installed that i use to visit certain sites....so i don't think it would be a problem to have Chrome also installed to take it for a test drive.

I was not going to try it, but it told about the ability to save text on myLot since sometimes I mistakenly close the tab, or I get rid of the text. And now I can save the sites that I visit the most often. It means I have to be extra careful in choosing the sites and not go just surfing anywhere. I looks like a good deal. I am also waiting for it to be ready for Mac, since I plan to get a mac soon.

I am using it already and see it as good for a beta application. I am sure they will make it further improvements when the final version is launched

This is a good news. Many browsers more good features to come. Because they will be competing with each other. So one will come out with new features always. But right now, i am using firefox.

I just heard about this on the news this morning. I'm still stuck on the name 'Chrome'. It would funny if the browser is no good and the name wouldn't quite do it justice, lol. I haven't heard any reviews on it, but I'll look some up. I'm going to remain skeptical until I've seen some concrete proof that it's worthwhile. Until then I think I'll stick with Firefox.

wow this is really cool. have you already tried this? has anyone here tried it, yes? I remember there used to be another now defunct web browser. I think it's Netscape Navigator. who owns it and does it still exist?

Great my pc got 5th web browser. IE,Firefox, opera, safari, and now chrome. its nice to me having five browsers to play with internet babe. but one serious matter. some wil insist on IE itself. Bcoz they dont like change. in my office only younger guys r using firefox, opera etc. but older guys stil insist on IE..........

No catchy features for this web browser. All features can be found on either Mozilla, Safari, Opera and IE8.

Thanks for the information ! I will try it right and and give some feedback right here. I hope it will be better than other web browsers, because nowadays it hasn't made any significant move. I like the new privacy features, it can be useful for some people and companies.

I will probably DL and test Chrome. I am a Firefox fan, but since their last update, mine will crash at times. I might have to uninstall/reinstall it. My current fav browser is Opera...I have been using it a lot lately and am really impressed with it.
