That's a very good use. But do you think writing down your problems relieve you from stress? Thanks for responding friend.

Well for me it helps me control my feelings at that time, and whenever im sad and i write in it, it helps me get my feelings out instead of holding them in. So for me it helps me with stress but I dont know about others. No problem

I kept one about 10 years ago, for a period of about 3 years. I did it on the suggestion of Anthony Robbins, the personal development guru of the 90's. And ,according to his instructions, I didn't call it diary, but 'Success Journal'. Well, the title didn't really help, nor did the audio course which I bought. I'm still not a success, and I've been working on it for 15 years now.... But, it helped me to keep my sanity. At this time I was in a real deep hole, thinks looked really (and I mean REALLY) bleak. I don't really want to go into details, but this period almost cost me my life, physically, I mean. And this 'Success Journal' definitely helped me to not go over the edge.

That's really good my friend. If a success journal (diary) can help a person to such an extent, then I am convinced to say that personal diaries are really important. Thanks for the response friend.

I used to own a diary before. I really love to write down everything I experience, for me it is an essential part of my existence. As historians says, it is a perfect way to study a person's history. I have always dreaming of having an autobiography in the future. Maybe, a book entitled: Kathleen Nieves' Misadventures. My diary contains a lot of secrets, especially about life stuffs, love life, and family matters. I consider my diary as my bestfriend... A shoulder to cry on (literally speaking something to talk about what's happening to me and what I am feeling).

I used to keep a personal diary when I was a girl for quite a few years. I only started writing it after reading the diary of Anne Frank. I did try a few years ago to write a diary every day but there just wasn't time and since I tend to waffle on it would have been huge. Don't think anyone would be interested in reading lots of my waffle

I keep a diary too,but the purpose of this diary is to write down 5 happy thing in your day,,,only that. I´ve been doing it for over a year now, and it´s sometimes hard to think of 5 things about my day, in todays world with somuch stress, crime and problems,,,but it feels good at the end of the day todo it. iT puts like a possitive view on the next day because you realize that sometimes the little thing in life are the most precious ones.
