My Avatar Keeps Disappearing...

My avatar has just suddenly disappeared several times lately. So far I've been able to get it reentered. I'm wondering if there might be a particular key combination that might be causing this. I doubt that I'm the ONLY one it's happening to. I'm seeing a lot of generic avatars lately. Is this happening to you too??? Any suggestion how to stop this from happening??? I like many others recognize my friends by their avatar. Can you give me some advice???

I'm the same as Howard. You're right here on the page, but not in the notifications. I don't get a notification saying that you've responded (when you have) either. But I do get a notification that you've started a discussion. But I don't get too many other peoples. Crazy!

I never see an avatar in the email notifications.

Well I don't see your picture on the email notifications but it is there on your profile page and in discussion here, I do see it.

Yes, you're seeing it now as I had to re-add it again this morning, Just ask valeria & myklj. Howard, I think it was you who pointed it out the first time, myklj the second & valeria the third. I can't believe you 2 even dare to doubt me!!!

Hmmm it must be unnerving to keep turning invisible lady M! i am pleased to say that I have not been unable to see you any time I chat with you - maybe I am psychic, or should that be psychotic? hmmmmm? Hope it is working properly again but I have no idea why it keeps happening! xxxx

H LadyM..being honest I haven't noticed that mind you I'm not very observant anyway am sorry but cannot giveany advice on this one though a while back pyewackets avatar kept changing from a cat to a face of a man..pye is actually a woman! So what happened there I dont know..it seems that from time to time that this happens...littleowl

I didn't notice it any of the 3 times it happened until somebody asked me why it wasn't there, including the SA above!!!

That happened to me once before. It completely disappeared from a discussion that I had posted and made several responses to responses, so it should have been all over the place. Mine not only disappeared, but I didn't get that generic avatar as a replacement, either. I simply had an empty spot.
After scratching my head for a minute or so, I hit the refresh button and it came back. I don't have a clue what made it disappear and I didn't know that this had happened to anyone else, either.
I guess it's just one of those mysterious myLot 'glitches' that happens every now and then. Was yours replaced by the generic one when this happened?
I'm glad to see your avatar is back, anyway!

Yes, the generic appeared all 3 times. Since I don't pay attention to my avatar, I didn't notice until a friend sent me a message asking where it went. Each time I have been able to get re-add my pic & for now it seems to be staying. I was just wondering if it was something I was doing wrong or something I needed to stop doing. Maybe it was a myLot glitch & whatever is straightened out now. I was just getting tired of returning my pic as my avatar!!!

Well, I have never heard of avatar disappearing before, others things yes but avatar? and I too recognize my friends by their avatar which is great, but I am sorry I cannot help you about your avatar, I don't understand why its keeps disappearing.

YES, it is there right now. However, I have fixed it 3 times in the last 2 days. It keeps going back to the default Av
