I'm about to hit my 30's and am still at a loss as to what to do with my life. I am a mum of 3 and now my youngest has started primary school I want to do something for me!!!
My highest level of qualification is an NVQ2 in childcare, I cant afford to sign up 2 expensive courses so also need advice on what funding is available!
I am interested in lots of things.....nursing,midwifery, maybe teaching, social care....even the police force!!!!
Any suggestions!!!

There are a wealth of scholarship sites on the internet and I would encourage you to scan through some of them. Firstly, you will get an idea of what is available to you and may help you narrow your career choices. Think big and go for it!
It is challenging for Moms to go to school but there are options. You've got a lot to consider and best of luck on your journey.

thanx for your response....its just a confusing time, there are so many different careers and i dont want to make the wrong decision! I dont want to take a couple of years out to study then find that career isn't for me!!
I will get there eventually!!!

yeh your first discussion woo hoo well i can't give you any more advise than i've given in person i really do think so careers tests and really narrowing down what your passionate about as oppose to just interested in will help. I mean your going to be doing it everyday so the passion needs to be there if it's a career your picking and not just into to pay the bills. I'm leaning towards the social care thing because i know you and i think you can be caring and sensitive but also honest and objective and you'll be able to switch off and go home we already know i have no off switch. you'll get there babe i have faith in you.
