On June 11th I had a slip and fall and herniated a couple of discs, it has caused me to have chronic back pain. Which has put an aweful lot of responsibilities on my husband. He tries so hard but ladies you know there isn't anyone that cleans your home like you do. I cleaned my whole upstairs spotless along with the kitchen. with my son returning to school today I was bored out of my mind, I said well let me do a little bit of something, I turned on the stereo and it began. All the little things that have bothering me. Needless to say it was really stupid of me because now I am in much pain and had to take some medicine. It is just after three months of not doing anything I had to do something. Maybe the pain will get worse before it will get better. All I know is at least I am keeping my mind going. Hubby came home shocked and said OMG I have a free afternoon after 3 months I could get use to this. Once he seen me get up, he said maybe not lol. He insisted that I relax and he made me a nice cup of coffee. What do you do when you are not able to do your normal everyday activities?

I'm sorry to hear about your injury. When I can't do my normal everyday activities, I use the time to do things that I enjoy but don't usually make time for. I enjoy reading, surfing the net, playing some computer games, and chatting. I also use the time to get caught up on movies that I missed in the theaters. I try to switch activities so I don't get bored.

Thank you for your response. I just went from a job that I was constantly on the go and to sit still is really hard for me. My job is taking care of mentally and physically challenged people and now I feel like I am the challenged one and I have no control. I wish I could find a job at home typing or something, but we all know how hard those are to find.
