What is your weekly grocery budget, do you find it difficult to cook meals while keeping to that budget?

My weekly grocery budget is 100$ sometimes it is hard if I want to cook something special but most of the time I can get everything we need to cook for the week.

Their are three people in my family. I live in a small town and the nearest super center or big grocery store is almost an hour away, so it is more expensive to shop here but gas is so high it evens out.

It varies from week to week depends on the bills that pop up or if my hubby wants to get something for his hobbies and it kinda cuts into the budget a little. But no I do not find it hard to stick to it or cook meals. I watch for deals from week to week and well have a few things to fall back on because of sales. I only cook usually for me and my husband when I am home and not off babysitting. I am lucky because my husband isn't a picky eater either. My budget isn't a $100 a week sometimes it can be $20 but I do have stuff in the freezer and in the cabinets so am good to go.

My grocery budget is $100 a week. I buy things like hamburger in bulk then take it home and seperate into individual packages. There are 5 of us in my house so $100 has to be stretched a long way. I cannot remember the last time I could afford to buy fresh fruits and vegetables everything is always canned. We mainly just eat the cheap cuts of meat like pork chops, hot dogs and hamburgers.

I do not have a set per week grocery budget. I buy what I need to get when I need to get it. I normally do one big shopping trip a month to get meat and basic stock. I get milk, bread and eggs and anything else I need weekly. I probably spend about $300-$350 a month for a family of 3.

Our weekly grocery bill is around $80.00 and that is to feed 3 people. I dont find it to terribly hard to stay with that budget now that i know how to manage it. It surprises us that we use to spend 3 times as much and not eat as good. I make a menu before we go to the store and we stick to the list... if its not on the list then we dont buy it. Also we usually buy generic and the items have to usually be on bonus buy or some simular sale...
