does love grow the further you go?

i have always thought that when you are in a relationship your love gets stronger the further that your relationship goes, like when you first start to love them you will love them more than that after fifty years...but a lady today told me that it seemed from what she heard that love could melt away as your relationship got older because you know that your other is always going to be there anyways and i still think its just going to get stronger, what do you think about this, do you think it gets stronger or weaker? thanks for taking the time out of your day to read and review my discussion and i hope that you will answer, i hope that you had a great day today and i hope that your night is going to be a great night as well, once again thanks for taking the time!

i believe love grows when time pass by. it will grow if you let it grow. but if you doesn't really love the person or you given up easily on it, of course it won't grow.
love is a choice. it is a choice if you will learn to love your partner more or not.

Personally the love between my spouse and me grows the further we go. One of the main reasons is because of the kid that we have. I consider our kid the link to our relationship. Besides, we have been getting along with each other and cooperative and interactive with each other in our relationship. We don't have to speak out what we think before we know what each other expects. That is the harmonious that we have with each other. As far as I believe that the love gets stronger everyday,but years that will pass by the love turns to treating your partner a friend,a lover,a sister or a brother,it happens somehow I think. That your always their for both of you no matter what happens. I don't call it weaker but you get bored,the love is still their always.You just find it I think routinary,what you do each day you see her,being with her for a lifetime. Have a nice day!
