Is anyone else ever agitated by the thought that while living on campus they find themselves eating the same things over, and over because there just isn't enough variety for vegetarian students? I understand that there are things like pizza and french fries for us to snack on, but I pride myself on my HEALTHY lifestyle, ergo vegetarianism. I'm a sophmore at the University at Buffalo, and I have been a vegetarian since my senior year in high school, so I'm still not used to having minimal meatless options at my disposal. I want things like tofu, and not the crummy kind that falls apart when you try and stab it with a fork. I want to see fresh fruits and vegetables at my disposal. All those omnivores have their turkey sandwiches and burgers and what have you...so why don't we have choices?! If anyone has found a solution to to this problem please let me know....I'm desperate!

Have you tried attending a vegetarian college? Is there a vegetarian club that you can join? There might be others who share the same interests as you. They might be able to help you. If not start a vegan club. Also visit the president of the student body, the dean and the manager of the cafeteria.
