i saw one time in a news that they featured a story about house fighting. its like a game or gumble or sometime. and there are some people who vioce out that it is against the law (our country has amimal warefare act)but the governor of the province just ignore them. he said it is their tradition and people should learn to respect other peoples' beleif and should not impose their own views. my question is what is to be followed the law for saving those animal or traditions (well we too have laws regarding preservation of tradition under ancertral something law)?

I am against any type of animal fighting, whether it is horse fighting, dog fighting or whatever. I believe that animals should not be put in such situation for the mere entertainment of men whether it is tradition or not.

Horse fighting was once a tradition of the Bagobo tribe of Davao. It was also held annually during the annual Kadayawan (Goodness) Festival of Davao City. But no more. I agree that horse fighting (or cockfighting) should be discouraged. Although I am a Bagobo myself, I consider horse fighting brutal.
