Well.. despite of love thingies.. jealousy means you have the feeling of possession of that gurl. I mean. You won't get jealous if you don't think that she's yours. What for?
I think it is normal to have the jealousy if you know that someone you like so much is getting too close with someone else. And I think it is normal for someone to confront the jealousy to the other party so you would let them know your true feeling towards them.
I am a jealous person. I don't like someone get too close with my lover. I would be very angry if I know that someone is getting in our boundaries and I would confront just the moment. Sometimes it brings us to the fight, but at least it would clear the problems between us.

Well, to leave them alone means you give them permission to do what they want to do. I don't want to do that because I am not giving them permission, and I am not going to allow them do what they want to do behind me. I would surely confront and ask for the explanation, so that I can overcome the jealousy. Don't keep the jealousy only in your heart it would eating you inside.

It is no that only boys are jealous, girls too are jealous. it is human to be jealous about the things that you care about , i guess.
