I am on sick leave and my boss is calling. If you were in my shoes would you answer the phone call or not?

hi, ha ha. After finishing my Engineering and then my MBA, i made up my mind, that i am never going to work under someone. So I started up a business. Now coming to your point. your professional life ends the moment you leave your office and your personal life starts over there, so i would ask you not to attend his call. regards

I wish you a quick recovery too if you are still sick.

I like what you said about my professional life ends the moment I leave the office. Well, in this case it's a little different since I work in the field as a salesperson. But nevertheless, I love your point. True! I should have a personal life after work. Yikes! Sometimes I do forget. My job is pretty demanding. And thanks for your advice I didn't take her call as you said. She called several times today, and I hate her for that. lol.

well, you have said it all.. It is interesting and all the more difficult to be associated with sales, though i like such jobs, you need to constantly motivate and refresh yourself, because at some point of time you have to face the fatigue created by over exertion. All the best. regards

You have a funny main title on your discussion.. And to respond......Nope, I will not answer the phone call. In fact my phone will be in silent mode until I get back to work.

hehehe. Well, we don't get along very well that's why I sort of considered her as a devil on the loose. I'm so bad. hihihi... I was back to work this morning and the first thing she did was to meet up with me. Imagine seeing your boss on your first day back to work after being sick? And I thought I could be spared since I work in the field. I didn't have a choice. Next time I'll put my phone in silent mode too. Thanks for that tip. It'll help me lessen the stress every time I hear the phone ringing.

I guess if you are in sick leave don't have to answer the phone! The problem is would you be in trouble for not picking up the phone! Enjoy your leave and I hope that you feel a lot better now .

I don't think I would be in trouble for not answering her call. I just wonder why people can be so insensitive and inconsiderate sometimes. Especially my boss. I was on sick leave for three days now. And she kept on bugging me about the reports That I had to submit. It wouldn't be such a big deal since the reports would comprise of mainly expenses I have made for the past four weeks that I was in the field. I just don't get it why she has to force me to submit it immediately. It would have no bearing for her at all. Oh! By the way, I took your advice. I didn't answer her call. Not even once.

Nope. I would definitely not pick up. You're sick, you need rest. Rest and fluids. And maybe someone to snuggle with/infect. ;) Drink lots of tea or water, rest lots. Hope you feel better. :)

Hmmm interesting! Someone to snuggle with. Waaaaaahhh!!! I don't have someone to snuggle with at the moment. Would you like to recommend someone for me to snuggle with while I'm sick...lol...kidding. It would be nice to have someone to take care of me while I'm sick. It's unfortunate that I have nobody at the moment. I'll try to be content with my pillows for a while.lol. Thanks uncrushable for dropping by. I didn't answer her call. Not even once.
