I loved this book! We were forced to read it in high school and I hated reading back then. But even then, I loved this book. And everyone else hated it. Even now, my friends don't like this book, my coworkers don't like it, and it seems like a lot of people just really do not get into it. But I finally read it again on audio and I loved it even more because I was able to comprehend even more of the book by listening to it rather than having the trouble of physically reading the book. So what did you think of this book? Love it or hate it?

I loved the book from the first time i had the chance to read it, even if it´s about a dixtopia, or an unwanted future, people should really read it, as the book even with it´s age, provides an up to date probable future, even if it´s one to avoid. I love the Savage character, you just have to, it´s the only sane person in a insane world, and because of that it´s an outcast. Read the book you wouldn´t be dissapointed at all, Aldous Huxley did a great job writing it, and thinking about the "ideal world" facade of a cruel dictatorship, perhaps even crueler than George Orwell "1984", because people aren´t controled by fear, but by the ilusion of happiness...

I've read 1984 too, but I definitely liked Brave New World better. Glad to hear you also enjoyed it!
