I'm just wondering. I'm not american, but i do see the news on tv. I'm just wondering if the america would really let a black man be president? I have nothing against anyone, no matter what their colour, but i do have some thoughts that even if Obama does win, he might not "win" because i think the american government is shady, and might fudge the results. I am asking you WHAT YOU THINK about it all. Very interested in your thoughts. :)

It depends on leadership quality not on the base of black or white man.

Why not? If he has the qualification to be the prez definitely he can be US prez. His colour should never be the qualification. But whether he is qualified or not is for the American people to decide. But if they decide on the basis of his colour that would be unfortunate.

You have a point, even though the United States of America is the land of opportunities and the free, its still well known to be a land of racism. But its better than the United Kingdom where racism is clearly obvious (I don't mean to offed anyone, I'm just writing my thoughts). I hope Obama wins though, he has a good head on his shoulders and even though some may see him as too young to be president, I see him as too young to have already been corrupted by the government. I tink he can make a big change in this world.

A black man definitely has a right to win & he can easily win it if he has all the good qualities of a leadership, unless racial discrimination is still not followed by people. As far as i know that there are minority of people in America who will not accept a black man as their president, no matter how good he is for his country. i hope everything goes fair.

Don't you think theres a racial discrimination.....If he is would be voted by people of U.S.,then a black President be born. It's not the color of a person its the leadership that he could offer for his countryman.

Yes i agree, it's not about the colour. But do you think it could actually happen? He was voted leader of his party, but could he actually be leader of a country? Would that many people vote for him/would the government let him be put into power?
