Why do people say decaf is as good?

I always have decaf in the house ...not for me though cause I hat the stuff but since my youngest is always wanting to be like me I thought it would be good for her and she loves it . At 7 she is too young for the caffeine (in my opinion) but she drinks the decaf when she wants to be like mum. Her 15 year old brother well he gets way too hyper on real coffee so he is on the decaf too! I have to add that they don't drink coffee every day but it is good to know that if and when they do then they are not going to be buzzing around somehere around the ceiling! lol xxx

I think for people who can't have caffiene it becomes a close second, so people say it is just as good so they are trying not to miss what they can't have. It's the same with coke etc, the diet versions don't taste as good but after a while you get used to their taste.
