hi everyone.. i am using the mobile phones for the past five years and the major mistake what i did is that i will put the mobile for charge, the whole night and will sleep. that really made my battery performance down and so my first mobile phone's battery went to trash. later i realised my fault and nowadays i am keeping my mobile charged for some hours and when it shows battery full, i will remove it from charging.. what about me.. share about you

My charger gets rather hot when I am charging my phone so i always uncharge it if it hasn't finished and then put it back on charge in the moring. I don't want a fire in my house. But then I am a girl who turns all switches off at night time

Hi vinesh! Well,I dont find any reason for the mobile phone being damaged if its charged continuously. As the electronics in it are so designed that whenever it gets the battery full notion, the circuits allow your battery to charge anymore. If you find your battery so heated up even after being fully charged, then there is some problem with your battery.A good battery wont be heated up after being fully charged.Thank You

I used to do the same until a year back. I had read about this which said its not good to keep the mobile on charging for the whole night. I think that i even read that the battery has a chance to explode or something like that. I am pretty unsure of that though. Anyways do not take a risk these days. Whenever the charging is done, i remove it. I have it near me when i sleep, because i keep the alarm :)

I leave my cell charging all night long, I am not sure if that is good or not but that is what I do.

Hello vinesh_kcm I never leave my phone on charge overnight. I only put it on charge when the it is at it's lowest and is not far from cutting off. If it is on the red line before I go to bed then I charge it in the morning.

Its not good to keep your cellphone charging all night. It takes a maximum of about 2.5 - 3 hours to completely charge it. charging it all night would certainly reduce the battery life. Charge your cell phone when its really low on charge and not just anytime. And when you do charge, charge it completely. It needs to complete a cycle of charging and discharging.

hi vinesh, i generally charge my mobiles in the morning. it's not advisable to charge it all night. the battery gets heated up a lot when you do so and also it's performance level goes down as you have told. that too after the battery gets full i remove the mobile from the charger. happy mylotting!

I don't usually leave my cellphone charging unattended, so no, I don't charge my cellphone over night. I'm too worried it might overheat and explode or something. *lol*
