Do you ever get an interest to respond to discussions with zero response?

Many discussions are posted in a single day at mylot. Some of them get tons of responses, while some get a few number of responses.. Few do not even get a single response..I like to check out the "no response" link and respond to the posts if I found it interesting.Do you respond to the discussions with zero response? Do you ever get an interest to respond to the discussions with zero response?

I always look in the no response box first and see if I can answer anyone, they look so lonely without any answers

I get interest in any discussion does not matter how many answers it gets or not, I need to get interested, is not the number but actually the topic, thank you!

yes, the number of responses does not matter. But I was just asking about those discussions that are specially labelled as "no responses" at the top of the page.

Oh, I always do that. It had been my habit for some time now to check out discussions with no response. I tried my best to respond to some of them as long as I could interact with their topic. It's like I don't want them to feel the feeling of starting a discussion and not having response at all.

yes, that is true. Moreover there would be many new users who start a topic to have an idea about this site. When they see that they do not get any response, it may disappoint them. So I respond to their discussions so that it can be an encouragement to them.

I glance at the new ones as well, but I still only respond if I have something to say. A lot of the times it is a new member that can use a little help, so I direct them to my profile to read the tips I wrote.

Yes, that is true. There is no point in responding to a discussion if it is not interesting. I also respond to those discussions in which I can share my thoughts.

I do like to answer some questions with zero responses if I find them pertaining to a situation or issue in my life. I also like to admit that I want to be the first one to respond sometimes. It makes it seem more interesting that way.

That is quite interesting. It is more of fun too. I enjoy doing it. The user would be happy to see that he got atleast one response.

You have got a good schedule of work at mylot..I think you would be getting more time to post, when you have a planning like this.

I always check the new users and no responses. I remember how lonely I felt when I first started here. Unfortunately the ones with no responses all too often evoke a "no wonder there aren't any responses". There's just nothing to say in response to many of them.

yes, That is more common. Few of the "zero response" posts would have nothing to discuss..So I choose those that interests me..
