On a busy school morning I really try! / myLot

I don't know if all of us are able to do this. But on most school mornings I really try to sit and eat and talk with my daughter. I think it gives the day a good start. When we are lucky daddy can sit and have some coffee before he jets off to work. Does anyone else do this? I think it is important what with our new baby here in just a few months. Hopefully it will be a habit I can continue.

I think it is a good habit. It helps bind the family together and provides an opportunity for communication. That is a good thing in our busy world.

I don't normally sit down and eat with my son in the morning before he goes to school, but I am always in the kitchen doing something and talking to him in the morning.

i do that as well but my kids are older, so they would rather watch tv than eat with me in the morning! so i generally sit at the table and eat alone...:-( (their daddy leaves at 7:30 for work, so he is already gone - but he comes home by 4:40 which is a good thing!)
