I have to agree. I saw them. And I was just channel surfing. Yes it can be interesting. But over and over and over...it gets old quick. Now may be the time to stop. Let's see them again in 5 years. That may be better.

I totally agree. I used to like the show but now I really feel that they are stretching it. It is getting old watching them travel from place to place. I think the best shows were when they were in their house just being kids. I get really annoyed with listening to Kate complain constantly. I understand raising 8 kids is difficult - I have 6, but she seems to have help all of the time and now her husband stays home because they support themselves with the show, their speaking engagement and their new book coming out. So for now I just turn the channel and watch something else. If they do a where are they now show in 5 yrs maybe I'll watch.

Hey cher913.
My niece is ape over this show. I've seen it a couple of times. I did see the Oprah show, I think that was a rerun as I saw it a few months ago. It is sort of weird that people get such a kick out of watching a family raise their kids. I did watch that show about that religious family that had, like 18 kids. Now, THAT was an interesting show! I don't remember the name of it, but they sort of dressed like the Amish but they weren't Amish. I think the dad was a congressman or something. Anyhoo, take care.

I've heard about them and seen some comments here and there online, but I've never watched them or kept track of what they're doing.
I don't think I'd want anyone following my life like that. And what about the kids?

Well, they have found a great way to make money, so they are going to work it for everything that it's worth-- just as the Duggars (the family with 18 kids) do.
Personally, I would love to have a large (mostly adopted) family. However, you definitely wouldn't be seeing us with our own reality show.

You are too funny. I was just thinking that last night. It was the day of their marathon, although it seems like more than one day a week is their day of a marathon of Jon and Kate Plus Eight. I like their show, but I can't watch it as often as TLC wants me too. My dad is the 15th of 16 children, all from one set of parents, no twins. My late grandma should have made Oprah!
