well....
i had a rather painful experience yesterday...
i did not wash off the cleaning solution properly with saline, and when i place it into my eye it was really uncomfortable and i could see my eyes turning red....
ouch....
i took it off and just rinse it off again before placing it back in.
did you ever had such an experience?
how did you feel?

LOL. I've been through this kind of experience. I just being careless and forgot to change the solution. My eyes became red and it was very painful when I tried to take it off. I have to keep the lenses away for about two weeks until my eyes get recover...

I wore contacts so long ago there were only the hard type.
I worked at a restaraunt and constaly got grease on them.
hated that so I wore the lenses a few weeks then threw
them out taking back my glasses.

Well.. that was really dangerous. I remember when I was wearing contacts when we have BBQ party in the home, and the smoke was kind of making it dry in my eyes... I have to throw those contacts away because my eyes got like irritated because of the smoke of the BBQ.
Yeah, sometimes the glasses are just the best for some people. I do think I am doing good with glasses.

Not with a solution but even worse I feel.
Back when I worked as a machinsit I got steel shavings in my eye.
They used a small magnet pulling the steel from my eyes.
I could feel my eyeball being pulled as the steel was opulled out.
OUCH is all I can say.
I still have a rusty colored spot on my eye from that.

That is precisely the reason why I do not encourage the use of contacts.
It is so harmful to the eyes.
It is either never washed and clean properly. Or not stored properly.
I have also witness to many occasions of people wearing and then falling a sleep with them still on the eyes. And than waking up and panicking that they did not remove them the next day.
Tsk tsk tsk... better to use the trusty old spectacles. And only use the contact for special occasions like functions and events.
