Cutest moment at the RNC

On Wednesday night at the RNC, the camera was on Sarah Palin's family in the audience quite a bit. One shot was of Palin's 7-year-old daughter, Piper, who was at the time holding Palin's 4 month old son, Trig. While the camera was on them, Piper licked her hand and started smoothing down the fine baby hairs on Trig's head. Did anyone else see this endearing shot?

Mostly I wish the Palin kids would be left out of the spotlight, but that is one time I'm glad they were in it.

So you are telling me that if a child is cute and then that child is cute to a sibling, we shouldn't attack the mother who is being charged with missues of executive power. :-) I don't even come close to believing that but it was a kodak moment.

Actually no one should attack anyone else. It is politics, not war. The investigations should be carried out quietly, the results should then be publicized and acted upon one way or another and the MSM should let the Palin family have their privacy while officials investigate and do their duties.

I have to agree with Xfactor. I'm voting the Obama/Biden ticket granted, but this discussion wasn't about the issues at all. It was about a cute moment. No one said to put aside your beliefs about Palin, but it would have been nice if you could have for this one discussion.

Yes I saw it and turn to my husband and said "did you see that." It was a Hallmark moment. How anyone can attack the family is above my pay grade.

The MSM don't have a conscience about who they go after, even if there are children involved. I think they are pirhannas the way they attack anyone not in agreement with their leftist philophies. Yahoo news says 51% of people think the MSM is biased in their negative coverage of Palin, and it is persuading some of them they should vote for McCain instead of whomever they previously supported.

No I did not seen it. In fact all I know of her is that Sarah Palin has five children and the youngest is a boy. I wonder if it is on Youtube? It would be so cute to see. I always love it when someone in the government is not ashamed by the kids acting well like kids. I guess she must be proud of her little daughter. And I bet she looked like a little angel.

I hope Youtube has it because it was positively adorable. Piper looked so proud of that baby while she was holding him.

That indeed was cute. It's even better since nobody could have told her to do it as an 'act'. It's refreshing to see something natural like that going on in all of this political mess they are creating right now. My husband and I were laughing so hard. See, we have two of those 'little mommies' in our house and it reminded us very much of them and how cute they sometimes behave when they are 'in charge'.

It was refreshing to see something in the RNC that wasn't scripted. Kids have a knack at inserting spontneous moments into any undertaking, no matter how serious and scripted it may be.

Yes, I saw that and Piper was too cute! She also hammed it up a little bit when the girls were introduced and she stood up and waved. She certainly doesn't seem shy!

I guess Piper takes after her mama. She's not shy either.

I just saw that one today on the news. That little girl giving the baby a cat bath lol. It was cute, I will admit, but I couldn't have been Palin on that night. As soon as I got off stage I would have given that little girl a talking too. "You don't lick your hand and rub the baby's head Piper!!! We are not cats we are people!!!"

Kids will be kids, I guess. Piper looked so proud of her brother while she was holding him. I think she was trying to take care of him in her own way. She wanted his hair to look nice.

She was so cute with her little brother - there were several different shots when was touching him very lovingly and then the one you speak of where he was licking her hand and smoothing down his hair.
