If you could turn back time, what would you redo in your life?

Let's just imagine we can go back to our past and redo whatever it is that we wanted to rectify. What would it be and why?

You could've become a football superstar. That sounds great! Oh well, what we could do now is just wonder what could have happened. Nevertheless, I know there are more important reasons why it didn't happen. This I know for a fact: that GOD had made better plans for you. I just hope everything is doing well in your life right now. Good luck!

Well i dont know if there exist any "GOD" but if there is and he have plans for me i dont regret a single thing that has happened yet because i had continued my might have nded up as one of those sportfreaks who is bullying the others. But i like my life right now and cant wait for what is gonna happen next.

If I went back to my past and tried to redo something, I wouldn't be the person I am today. But to fantisize about changing something is a whole nother story. In all honesty, though, there really isn't anything I would change because if I changed one thing, then it would be like the domino effect and change everything else that has made me what I am today. Does that make sense??

Welllll..ok...if there was something I could change, I would of gone to college and became the RN I always dreamed of being and I would NOT of married my first husband!!

Yes it does! I have no doubt that no one in here wouldn't want how they turned out to be or else they might be hating themselves right now. But the curiosity remains. The reason why I am asking this question is because I am interested to know, even in a fantasy, if people wanted to redo something in the past without ever thinking of the consequences in the future. It's just a fantasy anyway. I'd sure be happy if you could share. hihihi. If not, then it's fine wyldrose. GOD bless you!

You know, I've thought about this from time to time. While I have not had a perfect life or always done the "right" thing, I have always learned from my gliches and errors. And those life lessons are worth so much. I cannot imagine re-living any part of my life - whether it was good or bad. I love who I am today, and who I have become is the sum of all the good and bad that has happened over the years. So, I would not want to turn back the time at all.

Good for you kenzie45230. I am happy to know that you are content with what have happened to you in the past and what you have become. I was just wondering, if you're not considering the person that you are now, would you rather redo something in the past without ever considering what you will become in the future? Well, I asked this out of curiosity. I just wanted to know if all people have dreamdt of reliving their past lives to rectify a wrong deed they've done.

There are many things which in retrospect I would have liked to have done differently. On the other hand, my life would not have turned out the way it has, if I would change those things. Although I do not like all aspects of my life, there are many aspects such as my children and other experiences that I wouldn't have had if I would have chosen a different path/done things differently. Therefore, although it's tempting, I have to say, I would change nothing.

I know you wouldn't trade any of those you have acquired by living your past as it is. But mine was just mere inquisition regarding how people would want to relive their lives without thinking of the consequences or the outcome which would change what you have become at the present time. Just like a fantasy.

This would be relatively recent. I would go back to April of 2007. I had a job as a payroll administrator, and was not happy with the fact that I had to work long hours and didn't have time to take my five weeks vacation because payroll always have to be done and done on time. Regardless of holidays payroll is like the mail, it must be delivered on time. I had no back up person, to allow me to get time off. Well, the job that I previously worked at had an opening, and the Manager called and asked if I was interested in the job. I immediately typed up a letter of resignation and accepted the job. Needless to say, to make a long story short, that job did not work out for me. The supervisor did not like me and made every day I worked a living nightmare. The end results are that I got laid off, and now I do not have a job. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would not have accepted that job, and dealt with the job I had. It is always said that the grass is not always greener on the other side, I learned the hard way.

Oh my! I am so sorry sudalunts. Now I feel so sad for ever asking this question. I don't know what to say. I just hope that everything will work out fine for you. Though I can relate to what you have experienced about having a boss making each day of your life a living hell. And every time I get to remember it still gives me goosebumps. I don't know how I have survived her making my life miserable. I've cried rivers of tears almost everyday for all the time that she was my boss. I just told myself that if there's anyone who has to leave this company it would be her and not me. That seem to worked for me. I pray that you'd get a job soon sudalunts. A better opportunity might be coming your way. GOD bless you!
