Being Forced To Fight!!!

Hey you guys. I am still in the same place, but my problems are far from over. My landlord is attempting to unlawfully evict me. At first I was afraid of what he might be able to do to me, so I was just going to move to have peace in my life. But because of the lies that he told in the eviction notice, no one is willing to rent to me anyway. So I have no choice but to stay here and fight. My internet service is still off, but I am able to access Mylot through Internet Explorer. It is taking some time to get use to it, because I never really ised it before. I never knew that if I used AOL through IE, I did not have to pay. It is totally cool. I am still praying that all of this will work out smoothly, but I feel that there is a big fight ahead of me. I believe that God is using me to help right a lot of the wrongs in this place. I am always a willing vessel for God to use. One of the things that really made me believe this is when I went to Bible Study on Wednesday night and the pastor was talkking about how Joseph went through all that he did and was able to not only destroy the works of the devil, but save a people in the time of famine. I have always longed to be used by God in a mighty way and he uses me in many different ways. I am an advocate and although I hate to fight, if it is for a good cause and I feel it is necessary, I am not the one that you want to go up against. I believe that like David, the Spirit of the Lord comes upon me in battle and God gives me the victory. I am really trying to get my regular service back on, but they said that it hast to be fully disconnected, before they can reconnect it. I also had a hold put on my mail which needs to be lifted. I forgot to cancel Public Storage, but they called me today. I also have a brand new set of luggage for moving now. I think that once all of this is over, God is going to place me in a better invironment. But I believe that I will be here until the fight is over.

Rozie I am so sorry, do you want me to come and take care of your light work for you, I can kick some butt. That way you don't have to mess up your hair or get your hands dirty. Keep the faith hun, you know things are going to work out for the best. Right now you don't know what is going to happen, when this is all done and over with, you will look back and think wow, things worked out perfect. Take care, I have been thinking of you. Also be careful, if I don't get there in time you might have to kick some booty.

This has really been a test of my faith. It is really hard to keep the faith when you are surrounded by people who are not only non-Christian, but some of them do not believe in God at all. I can feel God's hand holding me up. I know for sure that if it were not for him, I would have completely fell apart a long time ago. I do not know what God has planned, but I know for sure he is in complete control. Last night, I stumbled across the website for the City Attorney's Office. I did my best to email the entire story to them and I am praying that they will be able to help me. Thank you so much Polly, for standing by me and being such a great friend.

Thank you so much for your offer for prayer support. My friends and others that live here, tell me of their problems all the time. They are afraid to speak up for themselves for fear of being kicked out. I know how they feel and it hurts me to see them forced to surpress their anger. I am not afraid of being kicked out, because I know that wherever I go, God is with me. I believe that God is going to change things around here for the better.

Even if I do leave after all of this, I will be happy to know that things are better for my friend's. No one deserves to live in a place where they know they are not cared about.

You are right. With the economy the way that it is, the last thing anyone should be worrying about is being forced out of their home. But, I know that as long as I continue to trust God, he will see me through.

Good for you Rozie. I hope it's not going to be too much heartache with you fighting this, but if you believe it's what needs to be done, then go for it. Please take care of yourself throughout the process, don't want you run down because of it. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers and keep us updated ok? Hugs Rachel!

Rozie I am so sorry there are people out there who have to lie like that. I am glad that you are fighting for the good of all. I wish you did not have to night but fight the battle for all of those who cannot fight for them selves. Good luck girlfriend.

Although this experience has been quite painful in many ways, I have learned a lot about not only myself, but life in general. I am stronger and wiser. No matter how this thing turns out, I am a better person for having experienced it.

I know what you mean. This has been going on for four months. But then I am reminded that in the book of James, it says, ...let patience have her perfect work. I am so glad that God is on my side. I could not imagine going through this without him.

When something like this comes up in my life, I know I will live through it and be stronger. I just wish sometimes I could pass through that dark tunnel faster then it takes. I am glad you are stronger and a better person for this.

It is sad that we even need lawyers in this world. But they are a very helpful reality.

Prayers, my thoughts, and good luck going your way. So what are some of the things he is stating in the eviction decree? What things is it that he is lying about? I must have missed a discussion possibly. Hahahaha! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

The thing that bothered me the most was when he accused me of making a racial comment against on of the staff here. If he had known me and how passionate I am against any kind of hatred like that, he would have never said that. That is what angered me to the point of knowing that I had to fight. Some people have a light attitude toward being accused of such a thing. But it goes totally against my core beliefs. As a child in church we were raised to believe that if you wanted to see the Lord, you had to love everybody. Because of my parents dying when I was so young. I lived in places with every nationality and still live in such a place. I do not see a difference. The color of a person's skin does not matter to me and I get highly upset when people around me make prejudice statements. So you can imagine how I felt when this guy accused me of such a thing.

I am so sorry to hear about what is happening to you but why stay in a place you are not wanted. Aren't there any other place you can stay at? Maybe you are better off at that place anyways..Remember God will find a way when there seems to be no way. Good luck with you on this one. Take care!

I would love to get out of here. But this has truly been a lesson for me in lining up my will with God's will. I have been trying my best to get out of here and so far it has come to nothing. So I have no choice but to wait on the Lord.

Don't let the landlord get away with it! If he has done this to you, then he will keep doing it to the next lot of tennants. We have rented privately in the past (3 times) and it seems my husband has a knack for digging out the really bad landlords because we have had to leave all 3 times due to being threatened with physical violence. One of these times was through a real estate agent too, but they went belly up and the owners of the place we rented ended up in jail for fraud!!!! So, there is justice, you just have to wait. Keep fighting it though, because you do have rights as a tenant.

The good thing about it going through the courts is that the landlord can't evict you know until a decision has been made, so you can relax a little more knowing that. I just hope it all works out for you.

Good day... If that's what you need to do, I guess that is what exactly need to do. Some landlord are just plain obtuse with regards to the rights of their tenants. I mean don't you have laws that protects the welfare of tenants against abusive landlords?

I am just starting to find out some of the things that I never knew. I did not know that there was a law against a landlord lying on me to have me evicted. When I think about it, I know that there should be, I just never had to consider it before.

The god has been all along with your every where and any where. With the presence of god with you, you need not any help from any body else. Do see the got in the man who comes to your rescue. God is there some time in the form your land lord and some time in the form of an Advocate your self. Think and have nice day.Comment.
