cat that wags her tail?

This is going to sound strange, but since one of my cats was a kitten, when she first comes up to me, she appears to wag her tail. It doesn't happen for long, maybe five or six seconds, but is very noticeable. I have her brother and her mother and neither of them do this. I'm thinking it might be her way of greeting me, but am not sure. It is neat to see. So, does anyone else have a cat that wags its tail?

Hi there!
I've been raisng cats for more than 6 years and I now have 2 mother cats and one son cat. We live together. I always see cats wagging tails. It happens when they are happy to see you or when they are extrmely excited, say,seeing a bird in her catch. When they feel at nerve they would usually erect the begining part(the end the connects her tail and the body)of their tails.
Does that helpped you to figure it out?

I have several cats and when I talk to them they wag their tails, But I have one that does wag her tail like a dog when I pet her. I is really neet. I Love all my animals but when they do special things you can't help but share it with others. So enjoy your cat, it's great to know that they are showing their love.

I had one cat that wagged her tail. It usually meant that she was upset & going to bite or scratch me. The same cat would pull her tail into a question mark shape & shake it when she was excited to see me!!!
