Any medical billers out there?

I'm seriously considering taking a class to become a certified medical biller. I've heard some scary things like how hard it is, but it pays well. I've heared yes, it is hard, but you're smart,you can do it. I guess i'm concerned about spending the money and not being sucessful at it. So what do you think? Did you find it very hard to learn and do or am I worried over nothing?
