I often do. Just to click the interesting topics for responding but sometimes I read other's responses then I lost the interest to post my own response. So what I am doing now is to avoid reading the other's responses so that I can respond to them. What about you people? Have you ever felt the same?

No, I don't. Even if I read some of the response to it. I don't care what their responses are. The only that makes me not respond to a certain discussion is that if I find the discussion less interesting. Happy posting!

Nope I have never felt like that because I don't have the habit of reading other responses.
Most of the time if we read other responses, we will not feel like writing others. Because some may have the same opinion that we have. So we will feel like writing the same what others write. That must be the reason for you too I guess. So lets better break mylot rules in this. Hehe. Lol. Just for fun.

Oops. I didn't mean to offend you. You also accept the fact that sometimes our thinking coincides with others. In that case one can't definitely write their comment. It will be like copying others thoughts. You have also accepted this in the next comment I guess. Thats what I said too. Then why such a reply????
May be the smiley that I used must have hurted you. Sorry anyway. Happy mylotting.

hi sreekala, I dont like reading other responses first as
I want to do my own r esponse, not a copy of someone else's
thinking. I want my own response to be mine alone, notjust
a repeat of a dozen other responses. Somineis not a gem, but
it is still mine, my thoughts, and my words, no one elses.

Yes I agree with you. Do you read other responses after posting your own? If not do it, I am sure you can find out some of similar ideas to other posts. I know your response is your own but sometimes it is natural to have common ideas. You can't blame anybody for that. But I appreciate your self control. Thank you very much for participation and giving your valuable comment. Take care and have a nice day.

I never read the responses of others before making my own comment. I don't need to do that. I want to respond on the basis of my own belief and intellect. I refuse to be influenced by the opinion of others and I believe we really should not let the comments of others influence us. Beside it is in the guidelines of myLot that we should not read the responses of others before making our comments so I adhere with the guideline of myLot.

I feel exactly the same way. Whenever I read other people's posts, I feel like they've all said what I wanted to say, so instead of just repeating them, I would try to think harder of more things to say. Sometime though, I really don't have anything more to add since what I would want to add have all been written already, so I would just give up on the topic.

Hi, I totally agree with you. Eventhough there is mylot guidelines, don't read other responses but sometimes it happens and after reading other's responses we realised that the point we wanted to write are there (may be in different responses). Naturally we lost the interest to respond. You are right instead of repeating the same we can respond to a new one. So what I am doing now is when I want to respond one discussion I never read the already posted responses and simply giving my opinion after that I read other responses. Thank you for responding to my discussion. Have a great day. Happy mylotting.

I make it a point now to respond to a discussion before reading other's responses. Otherwise the other, that is only some of the other responses may irritate me even befor i respond and I may lose the interest on the discussion..it had happened to me earlier so i dont read other's responses now before responding myself...
