Yes, it's time for me to feel old...

Last week, when I got home from vacation, my son told me that this kid I used to babysit has opened a new restaurant here in town. Granted, it's been about 30 years since I've babysat him, but it still made me feel old! Last night was the first chance we had to visit his new place and it wasn't half bad. It was great to talk with him, I have no idea when the last time I saw him was... Probably his high school graduation! Actually, I've seen him since then, but I have no idea when. When's the last time you felt "old" because of something that happened in someone else's life?

Hey reiny, I know exactly what you mean! Oh I have felt that way many times when my friends talk about how old their kids are. I feel that way when I realize that my godson is going to be 20 years old! I remember diapering him! Yeah! I remember when he was born! It doesn't sound like alot of years anymore! Twenty years doesn't really seem so long anymore. How sad is that! I have another friend that has been in my life for about 35 years and we were talking about when we met. That way we both really felt old! lol Taking a trip down memory lane does that to you, doesn't it?

Yeah, some of it's refreshing, some is kinda depressing...
