What will you buy for your sweetheart on Valentine's day?

Valentine's day is the 'day of love'. On this day, lovers express their love for each other. They normally exchange valentine's flowers, Valentine's cards, and candies in order to make their loved ones feel special. Dazzling bouquets and vibrant flowers are a perfect way to say ''I Love You''. This day is also a good time for promises to maintain that romantic spirit throughout the year with a bunch of stunning Valentin's Day flowers. So what you plan to buy for your Lover this year???

i prefer to make something for my boyfriend... something that would make him feel special coz i made it myself.. something i have exerted effort with.. i think the best gift that you could give to your lover are memories... coz it's something that both of you can cherish and treasure. material things will just come and go but memories will remain for life. it doesn't matter if you have given or received something during that day... what matters most is you are together.

I think Valentine's day is just a commercialised hype. Many people buy over-priced flowers etc because they feel obliged to. I would far sooner have flowers on a random day because that says far more about caring/loving someone than having them on a designated 'buy your partner flowers day'. Valentine's flowers dont say 'I love you' They say 'I bought you some flowers'.Receiving a Valentine's card/present from someone doesn't prove they love you at all. Giving your time to someone holds more meaning than a material gift IMHO. I didnt buy anyone anything for Valentines Day this year & have no plans to do so next February either.
