If you were a judge in a beauty contest, what would you ask the contestants? Why

For me, I would also ask this very question. It is least expected to be asked in a beauty contest and it would surely stir up the mind of the contestant. In that way I can really know if she has the intelligence and if she can answer immediately. We can see if they still have grace under pressure.

My question would be: What do you think it means to be truly beautiful? This is because they are obviously being judged on looks, but looks fade and that's not what true beauty is. So I would want to know what they think true beauty consists of.

Obviously, I would ask about their goals/aims in participating. What do they hope to achieve, and their plan after this, win or lost(both situation).

my question would be: why do you think height matters in a beauty contest?
