Philippine's next huge tourist spot

Hi! In 4 years time, a statue of the Blessed Mary will stand near the shores of Batangas. It will reach the height of 33 storey of a building. The statue's stand will be a 1000-seater chapel/church. This will be our own version of a towering statue of the Mother of Christ. Word has it that it's going to be taller than the Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. If this materializes, it will surely attract a lot of tourists. And probably a new image that movie makers will use in the future. Plus this will help in the recognition of our country. Let's face it, there are a lot of people scattered across the globe who haven't heard of "the Philippines". It's our time to be known. =)
