In the past few years we have seen the outrage at the Bush administration when civil liberties and basic rights were even assumed to be trampled upon! I have to wonder and question how long some of these rights and liberties will last if and when the Obama presidency becomes a reality! In the following article, the author points out facts of Obama and his campaign actually trying to stifle free speech!!?! Democrats, are you still this blind?? Rodney, if you want to be taken seriously by anyone you need to stop posting links to Malkin's trash here. She is about as accurate as the broken watch in my top desk drawer...and you're going to make gewcew go off on another tangent!

Spalladino, First, thanks for your comment! Second, if she is not accurate as you say why do sites like yahoo and many others risk libel suits by publishing her work? I know it hurts to see things like this come out about the man you are so mesmerized by but hey, the truth hurts!

I know it hurts to see things like this come out about the man you are so mesmerized by but hey, the truth hurts! You're new to politics...and probably fairly young, too, right? I'm not mesmerized by Obama...I haven't made up my mind yet but Sarah Palin's inclusion into the mix has caused me to take a closer look at her *and* Obama. To answer your question, no one is going to waste their time sueing Malkin or the other far left and far right loons who promote selectively spun rhetoric. As long as there is an element of truth it can be stretched as far as the writer wants to stretch and distort it. But, eventually the public tire of not getting a clear picture which is why newspapers like the New York Times and the Washington Post are having such a hard time financially and why certain network news organizations are seeing their lowest ratings ever.

Rodney thank you for linking to Michelle Malkin's opinion pieces. I like her, she great, and you are doing a great job by posting her pieces no matter what others might think of her. Let us all understand that Accountable America is run by a high level AFL-CIO lawyer, an a former member of MoveOn.org. Just set the table when John McCain came to Little Rock for a fund raiser AFL-CIO protested John McCain even being in the state. Now my question is this how many people protested when Obama came to Little Rock, none. So they are trying to stop people from donating to Sen. John McCain which will receive a large proportion of AFL-CIO members votes by the way. Republican member of the AFL-CIO are forced to donate to Sen. Obama and other Democrats that they would not vote for in a million year. How many Obama supporter are receiving thuggish letters trying to stop them from supporting their chosen candidate. Barack "The Silencer" Obama sounds like a good name for him, if you disagree with Obama, Obama and his gang will make you pay.

Gewcew, Thanks for your comment. Yeah, I like her commentary also and as far as I can tell from my internet wanderings she is very accurate! I don't believe more than 200 publications on and off the web would be reproducing her work if they could be held accountable for libel. She is a very strong and opinionated journalist every bit as unbiased as the MSM!

You forget that the democrats are in favor of bringing back the Fairness Doctrine as well, which is another way to censor everything they don't want said. The onlty free speech the democrats approved of is the speech they approve... anything else is hate speech, lies, and innuendo... as evidenced by this article, and by everything else the democrats appose.
