tasting it. I usually do not cook my food with salt. My husband starts sprinkling salt as soon as he gets his plate. Some foods are spicy enough that they do not need salt. I tell him all of the time to taste it first. I only add salt to french fries or tomatoes. I do not like too much salt. What about you do you taste first or sprinkle?

It is always best to taste first, that way you eliminate adding too much. Too salty is not good at all.

I sprinkle first. I know I shouldn't because I think my family eats to much salt but I guess old habits are hard to break. Everyone in my family likes a lot of salt unfortunately.

Have you ever sprinkled and really didn't have to, and your food ends up too salty? Maybe, you and your family can designate one day a week as a salt free Monday, or Tuesday or whatever and see how that works.

I always eat instant food so it has a lot of salt in its package. I'm healthy now so Im taking salt like anybody else. Plain salt is very dehydrating but msg is better by adding it little only, because the food adds taste and flavor. Salt can cause hypertension if it is consumed in large amounts, so everything around us has a limit like playing games too much can give stress and sleepless.
