Hi, all friends, We know that every school has ever teach us about our national anthem. Whether how to sing and what is our national anthem. Every country has their own national anthem. I'm Indonesian, My national anthem is "Indonesia Raya". I'm very proud to staying in my country, but little upset with the goverment official. So after a few years not singing this song. Frankly speak, I forget a little part from that song. But I will search and get back the missing one again soon. What's is your natinonal anthem ? Do you still remember it or forget little part of it? And Do you proud with your country now? Thank's for your willing time to read my discussion and make a respond. Have a nice weekend.

I definitely still know how to sing my national anthem. I actually get to sing them in front of people from time to time. The lyrics I know by heart. How can I not? We've been singing that since I was a small child. To be honest, even if there are times when people don't stand when they play the national anthem in our movie houses, I would still do. That is how much I respect our country and our flag. I get upset sometimes when people have no care about the song and the flag. Makes me want to get a big stick and hit it over their heads. Lol.

My country's national anthem is Lupang Hinirang... and yes, i know it by heart and i can sing it anytime anywhere... i was a history teacher a few years ago... and my main objective was to instill nationalism among my students... so part of the task is to teach them the national anthem by heart...

Hello there, of course I know the complete lyrics to my national anthem! The problem is that a lot of the words used aren't used anymore nowadays so I don't know what some lines mean. :( We had to memorize it sometime in grade school but I can't remember a lot of what was taught back then. SO I don't really know what's worse- forgetting some parts of the song or not knowing what some parts of the song mean!!

I am Nigerian. In my lifetime, I have had to learn three national anthems. The 1st: Nigeria We Hail Thee.( This anthem was used at the time Nigeria became independent from Britain on 1st October 1960) The 2nd: Land of the Rising Sun ( this was when we had a civil war in the late 60s. My family had gone on holidays to Nigeria only to find ourselves stranded there because a civil war had broken out and the country split into Nigeria and Biafra. It lasted 3yrs and we were in the Biafran side and had to learn the Biafran national anthem) The 3rd: Arise O Compatriots (The 1st anthem was scrapped and this new one implemented. I think in the early 80s.) Having a brain like an elephant that never forgets, I know how to sing all three and know all the verses.

Wow.. as always, your discussion always have a lot of respond.. You just know how to start a good one. Well for me, it dosnt matter someone still remember his/her national anthem or not, the most important part is the inside, if our inner heart really love our own country, that is enough, people live with many other thing to handle so it is very common if he/she forgot their national anthem. Just not fair if every people must always remember their national song, every people have its own capability to remember something. Forgot about it will not made you as traitor..

I have dual citizenship for the UK and Australia. I was born in the UK and know the National Anthem word for word, but I can only remember the first verse of the Australian National Anthem. I have lived in Australia for many years now, but still feel proud to be a British citizen too.

fortunately we were never made to sing it at school. so, no, I've never sung my national anthem. which is God Save The Queen. seeing as I am not a Christian, and don't beleive in a Monarchy, I would feel like a complete hypocrite to sing it.

How can I ever forget my National Anthem. It would be a shame and disgrace for me if I ever did. I am from India and proud to be an Indian, whether the government turns good or bad one. Our National Anthem is, Jana Gana Mana.... Every Indian involuntarily stands up on hearing our national anthem.

Certainly, I live in the USA, and remembering the national anthem is like knowing my name. Some things we learn we never forget, like riding a bike I guess it is just nerves, when someone forgets the words at a sporting event when they sing it. I even remember who wrote our national anthem, Francis Scott Key.

Shame it's my own national anthem but i try to remember the lyrics as much as i can. Maybe i need to sing it everyday so that i will never forget it.cheers!

Well, I am from the USA. I am sure if I thought about it, I remember all of our National Anthem here as it is always being played somewhere. It would be interesting though, or better yet, scary to see how many people actually have never thought of this one, and could probably not do it.

Yes, and because I am classically trained, I can sing it as a classical singer would sing it. My nation's anthem is "The Star-Spangled Banner".

i can, i can sing it well cause the national anthem was rooted so deeply in my heart. when we were school boys and girls , we used to sing a quite often. every monday morning, all the students gathered in the playyingground to watch the flag hoist and sing along the national anthem. when we were honored young pioneers , we sing it. and on so many occasions. so how could i forget it? good question.

I am from the Philippines and I know how to sing our national anthem. Though I am not studying anymore I love to sing it especially when I will mix some blendings.. Here it goes: Lupang Hinirag Bayang magiliw Perlas ng Silanganan Alab ng Puso Sa dibdib moy buhay Lupang Hinirang Duyan ka ng magiting sa manlulupig di ka pasisiil Sa dagat at bundok, sa simoy at sa langit mong bughaw may dilag ang tula at awit sa pag layang minamahal Ang kislap ng watawat mo'y tagumpay na nagniningning Ang bituin at araw na kaylan pa may di magdidilim Chorus Lupa ng Araw ng luwalhati't pagsinta Buhay ay langit sa piling mo Aming ligaya ng pag may mang aapi Ang mamatay ng Dahil sayo! Hope I shared to you the right thing! keep' rockin, keep going.. KEEP mylotting!
