I am writing this as a reflections of my own and also hope this is a good learning to everyone. Long ago, I had this very quiet and lonely friend. He is very timid and shy but he is kind. However, not many friends he has because of his character and many people actually teased him. I was also one of them. I thought that he is acting like an alien and totally unfriendly. Little did we know he was actually suffering depression. Nobody knows or care or even realize his symptoms and thinks he is weird. He committed suicide few months ago and we only realize few weeks back. He actually wrote a letter saying he is having depression for years and he has no friend and nobody around him. I felt so damn bad. Only if I show a little concern and care over his behaviour, maybe I could have shown him there are people around him. Alot of us felt the same during the funeral, we have taken him as granted and isolated him. He is already having depression and yet we let him plunge in further. So, I have learnt the biggest lesson after his demise. Try to look and care around for your loved ones and friends. If they are sad or down, try to be around with them. walk with them and show them that they are people who care for them. Take care.

you are right. you have to learn appreciating everyone close to your heart because in the end, they are the ones who will offer their crying shoulder to you. every individual may have differences in life but we must learn how to accept them because they are indeed a friend to us right? whatever things that we know is unacceptable to others, to ourselves they are still great persons. happy posting and happy mylotting!
