SINGLE PARENT....how are you?

My mom is a single parent. I was still in high school when my father left us for another woman. The incidents on how it happened was still in my mind. My father gave more than heartbreaks to my mom, he gave us the reason to be miserable. Oh well we have long forgave him and he was totally forgotten as part of the family. In fact when occasions calls and we have to face him we just ignore him. We became indifferent towards him. MY father's family thought that it was my mother's fault why our father have affairs. They blame our mom and my mom took all these. She raised us all her 5 children (although some financial help from my father's older sister)but the guidance, spiritual, moral and emotional aspect, my mom provided it all.

The mother of my twin grandchildren is a single mother. She is my niece and we are very supportive of her. Of course we know how hard it is to be a single mother. She is working and has to because nobody else will do this for her children. The father is totally alienated for some personal reason. However, we do give enough financial and moral support as well to make things easier for her. I could see how she is doing very well. I am teaching and helping her to mold her child in a godly manner and so far, I could see that she is doing a good job.
