For the cooks out there give me your best recipe that contains less than 5 ingredients, so anything from chicken, to stir fry, etc. Thanks.

I have a couple of favorites. I have a peanut butter cookie recipe. You need 1 C sugar 1 C peanut butter 1 egg You mix all of this up and roll into little balls, smash with a fork and cook at 375 for 10 minutes. Taste better if you put a hersey's kiss on top of them. I also like smashed potatoes I just boil potatoes and add sour cream with bacon and cheese after I have smashed them . Then I top with butter.

My family goes nuts over this recipe. I just made it up years ago. It is my version of tuna casserole. One can of tuna, 1 can cream of chicken soup, about 4 oz of velveta and any type of egg noodle you like. My kids like the medium shell noodles the best. That is 4 items. Now, salt and pepper to taste and you can also throw some frozen peas in there for color and to have your veggies :) It is real good and it never makes the oven to bake, they eat it right out of the pot! I never have left overs. The velveta makes it smooth and creamy. Oh, you can add butter too if you'd like. But then you would have more than 5 items. It's hard to come up with a recipe with so few ingredients. Good luck there.

Here is a recipee that is actaully easy to make if not time consuming that calls for little ingredients . You cook your chicken and when it is cooked you debone it and throw it in a long casserole dish for the oven , you throw your mixed vegetables , and a can of chicken soup mix in on top of of with a little bit of milk . Mix it together and add some stuffing to the top of it and throw it back in the oven until for half an hour or so until the stuffing has a nice golden look but is not hard on top . I usually serve this with potatoes and they all love it in my house . We actually just had that for supper last night .

Hi Dawn, My recipe would be a dessert one that I use all the time. It's easy to keep the ingredients in the cupboard for when unexpected guests drop by. Cake Mix Cobbler: Cake Mix (eggs and oil) and a can of pie filling. Spray oil in a 9X13 inch pan. Make the cake mix according to instructions and pour into the pan. Drop spoonfulls of the pie filling evenly around the top of the cake (it will sink down). And bake as directed on cake mix package. Chekc with a toothpick in an area in the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is done. I most often make this with a yellow cake mix and cherry pie filling. But, it's good with spice cake mix and apple pie filling (add some cinnamon) or Chocolate cake mix with cherry pie filling. If you like white cake mix, that works well also. It's great served while still warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Hope you try it and enjoy it.
