There are no real rewards other than helping Jagex enforce the rules. Your just a lowly beat cop.

I say being a mod is a very responsible job and the reward is having the privlage to enforce the rules of runescape and make runescape a better commuinity game.

Probably respect from other players is the best reward you get for being a mod. But, you shouldn't become a mod just for respect. The main point is to keep the game fair and help out jagex. And ofcourse, you could now ban those annoying rule breakers you always hated.
