In one of my Psychology classes, I learned of a term given to the tendency of individuals to think that everybody is looking at them when they walk into a room even if that's not the case. It's not to the point of narcissism and until now I still can't remember or find online what that term is (if you know, please help me out). My "googling" for this term led me to psychologytoday. com and I ended up taking this procrastination test. According to my results, I am somewhat of a procrastinator. The site also said my score (47) indicates that I "either procrastinate significantly in a specific area (or areas)" in my life, or that I am a moderate procrastinator overall. "Whatever the case may be, this can become a serious problem." So I started having these conflicting thoughts again. If I am a procrastinator then why would I bother taking such a test. But then I also think that I am procrastinating by taking such test to avoid doing something else. Whatever. I am going to take a nap.

ha ha ha sounds like a naps the best option i procrastinate sometimes often with things i don't want to do where as stuff i like i get straight on with. I'm bad at the finishing part i'm excellent at the creative and the planning and then i start it and i'm avid at it for a couple fo days then the newness and ethusiasm wears off and i get bored easily and have to force myself to get back into it to get it finished. I hate monotony same old parp day after day really demotivates me. Everyone i know procrastinates i at least one part of your life it's not necessarily a bad thing how annoying would you be if you did everything all the time before or just when it needed doing no spontinaety (can't spell it) no fun.

I will when I come upon the right term. It will probably take a while for me to figure it out.

I am like that too, mands. I like to start things and obsess about them for a while and then the enthusiasm wears off. It's spelled spontaneity. I haven' taken naps for a couple days now. I am in need of one, I think. Thanks for sharing.

Hahahha.. Dear, a good one! I think I am in the borderline and most of the times demote to one. But we are better off some times in life with it. I just hope the nap helped. smiles.... PS: did you get the right term?

Hello again mimpi. I haven't gotten the right term yet. In order to do so, I have to look for an old notebook or the textbook itself but I can't remember if I kept it or sold it back. Take care!

Although there are many terms for it, what you are referring to is "an acute sense of self-awareness" and if I were a head doctor (instead of an "anndr" (lol) then I would prescribe a nap. Go for it! Extreme self-consciousness is just a euphemism for selfishness as far as I am concerned. But you know, if someone lacks self esteem to the point that when they walk into a room their posture cries out "Look at me! Look at me! I am SO self-conscious!" it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy. There is some work that if we put it off long enough we will end up not having to do it.

I took a nap, so you're saying.... Lol. Procrastination = lost opportunities. At least that's what I got from that site I went to.

I dunno. I kind of like it when work I have put off doing self-expires and then I get to do what I want to do instead. I call that a found opportunity :-) Hope you had a nice nap!

It was restless. I don't really know if you can still call it a nap if you keep waking up every ten minutes or so. See you next time drannhh...
