My husband and I love scary movies but it seems that all the newer ones aren't nearly as frightening as older ones we've seen. Anyone have any suggestions on a movie that will give us a good scare?

Hostel, that makes me never want to go to Europe. Even if it doesn't seem like it's scary, it freaked me out and i had nightmares for a few days.

The movie, Cape Fear with Robert DeNero, Jessica Lange, Nick Nolte, was the scariest for me. It was out about 10 years ago.

My all time favorite move that is scary is Wait until Dark. Although in other ways the following scared me on a completely different level Countdown to Looking Glass the Stand

Wes Craven's THEY scared the living hell out of me. I didn't want to go into a room by myself after that one. One that's just creepy and not gruesome - El Espinazo del diablo, or The Devil's Backbone. It's in Spanish, but if you can't understand it, it has subtitles.
