Good to see the old ones still going, now a days you just have to toss out the entire mother board if one of the on-board stuff goes kaput. What do you use your's for?

My class mate has a system which his father bought more than a decade ago for about $2500 64 mb of sdram 6 gb HDD 14" crt monitor P2 processor etc but the main highlight is that he runs windows xp pro sp1 on that system. Even though he bought new pcs twice he is not interested in selling his 1st pc. For tips on windows xp visit my blog http://xpgenius.blogspot.com

It is great to know that old computers are working very well. Here there are lots of old computers available in the second hand computers shops. Pentium III is one of the oldest computer available in the market. I think some of the oldest computer do work for years.

I have a old pc that I've been using for 6 years. I still use this old pc of mine even though I have a Laptop and high end desktop. My PC specs is Pentium 4 1.70 ghz, two 128mb sdram, 32mb video memory, 40gb seagate hd (the original is a 40gb western digital hd), cd-writer. the only thing that I always replace on this PC is it's power supply and hard disk once. aside from occasional hanging at boot-ups this pc still ok and running smooth.
