Do You Hang Your Clothes to Dry?

There was a time that putting up clothes line in our place was not allowed as they feel it does not look good.
However, when summer came and the prices of gasoline went up, they lifted the ban on the use of clothes line. We could have set up one and use it to dry our clothes.
We could have saved money from electricity bills, however, our dog would have pulled down the clothes we hang and damage it.
How about you do you use clothes lines?

I really don't have the time and paitence to hang dry my clothes. Also I would have to do a lot more ironing to my clothes then I already do. It just would be convient at all for me to hang dry my clothes.

I live in a very cold place its raining most of the time.I use a dryer to dry the clothes. Its only in summer when its really hot that i put my clothes out to dry.I find that quite a pain, using the dryer is more convenient for me.

well i'm pretty used to using the dryer. started using the dryer since i lived alone a decade ago. even when i shifted back with my family, i still stick to the dryer. the weather here where i am is pretty unpredictable. it can rain suddenly without any warning and drench all the clothes. the electricity bills is pretty high so i'm thinking of switching to a gas dryer instead. what do you think about it?

Haha, here in Philippines, it is never a no-no to hang our clothes dry. When you go to the communities (called baranggays), you will see many clothes being dried up at the backyard and even on the front yard using ropes or metal wires. This is a normal sight to us so we don't find hanging clothes offensive. However, I guess it would be an unusual sight to see clothes hanged dry on the windows of condo units or big houses in the cities.
